Made You Luxe

Today’s post is the second in my Made You Luxe series, where I bring you the best designer-inspired items on the high street. So far I only own the first item, but girl tempted to go shopping…

Amongst my designer wishlist is a classic Burberry trench. They are so chic, so well made and SO EXPENSIVE. And let’s be real: I’m not going to be able to afford one of these bad boys until I’m earning mega bucks (which is a long time off, if ever).

I had seen this version at Zara for a fraction of the price (£69.99 to be exact), and when the only one in my size fitted me perfectly, I snapped it up right away.

In my search for the holy grail trench coat, I’ve had my fair share of cheap imitations, but this one goes above and beyond its minimal price tag. The fabric is soft and sumptuous, the fit is so sharp and is the most flattering coat I have ever worn. And the best news? It’s now in the sale for only £49.99, in both navy and stone. Hop to it, this one won’t be around for long…

If you follow as many style bloggers as I do, you’ll have likely seen this next item, oh, I don’t know, everywhere. This pair of Chanel slingbacks are, for me, the surprise hit of the summer. A few months ago I wouldn’t have associated these granny-going-to-church shoes with the stylish elite, and yet here I am almost wishing I had a pair.

So thanks to New Look coming out with these for only £18.99! Slingbacks never seem to work for my foot shape, so you’re going to have to let me live vicariously through you…

I recently got Snapchat (yes, I know I’m years late to the party), and began following one of my favourite bloggers, Little Blonde Book. A week or two ago, she snapped these Chloé sandals and I’m pretty sure I was the heart eyes emoji. For someone who wears exclusively monochrome, I wanted them. The heel height, the fun, flirty knotting: they are perfection.

When I was browsing the summer sales, I discovered these Mango sandals. Similar no?

Since the Chloé sandals also come in this camel colour, you could wear these as is, or if you have a Magpie brain like I do, you could take to these with various fabric paints, or even nail varnish. I think I’ve talked myself into a purchase…
